Speaking about the show, Reema Kagti said, “The shooting (of the show) was quite challenging. Made in Heaven is like a beast, so much so that even without COVID-19, even in Season 1, there were so many big actors, and each episode had a wedding. Shooting a wedding is like shooting action; it’s quite elaborate. When COVID-19 happened, you couldn’t have more than 50 people on set, and there wasn’t a single day when you could shoot Made in Heaven with fewer than 50 people. Logistics, the number of locations, so many directors and actors. It was a wild beast to manage, especially for the production team, the AD (Assistant Director) team.”

“When we wrote Season 1, it was a huge experiment because there was nothing like it. We had no idea what we were getting into. Once it was out, and it went so well, it put a lot of pressure on us to write better, to up our game. We are taking those themes forward. In a patriarchal society, we are looking at things from the women’s perspective. We are trying to attempt those things which seem gentle but when you get into them, they go from being gentle to being all the way subversive. So, that is kind of the theme but maybe we are getting deeper and darker,” she added. “Made In Heaven Season 2:
